Cleaning of alumiunm dye-cast mold

The release agent, aluminum scrap, rust could be dissoluted or removed.

1. Immersion washing

   Immerse the mold (room temperature) into liquid solution in the tank.

   The cleaning is done when the foaming stops.

   Heat the liquid solution when removing carbonized dirt such as release agent.

2. Brushing

   Brush the aluminum on the mold (room temperature)

   Repeat brushing when adhesion amount is large.

3. Spraying

   Keep the mold above 100℃ to effectively remove carbonized dirt such as release agent.

   The mold will dry out quickly, so spray repeatedly and check if it is removed.

   ※ Be careful when the mold is hot

Alkaline in the DA-300 will dissolute aluminum.

Hydrogen gas will be generated when reacing.

Use local exhaust ventilation, and ventilate thoroughly in a place without any ignition source.

Wash off with water thoroughly after cleaning. Residue may have unfavorable effect to molding.

Wash away with water before the cleaning agent dry out, when the mold is hot.
